Parvixome ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service. Please read this policy carefully. If you disagree with its terms, please discontinue use of the Service.
2. Information We Collect
Account information: When you sign in via Google OAuth, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We store this to manage your account.
Content you upload: Documents, PDFs, links, and other materials you add to your rooms are stored securely to power Parvilia's indexing and AI features.
Usage data: We collect anonymised data about how you use the Service — pages visited, features used, session duration — to improve our product.
Communications: If you contact us, we retain records of that correspondence.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and improve the Service
- To power Parvilia AI features (content indexing, quiz generation, summarisation)
- To personalise your experience and provide relevant suggestions
- To send you service-related notifications (security alerts, product updates)
- To respond to support requests and feedback
- To detect and prevent fraud and abuse
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored using Supabase, which operates on industry-standard cloud infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or destruction.
No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we take reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:
- With collaborators: Room members can see content you add to shared rooms, according to the permissions you set
- Service providers: We use trusted third-party providers (Supabase, AI model providers) to operate the Service, under strict data processing agreements
- Legal requirements: If required by law, court order, or governmental authority
- Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice provided to affected users
6. AI and Your Content
Content you upload is processed by our AI systems (including third-party LLM providers) solely to provide the features you request — summaries, quizzes, flashcards, etc. We do not use your uploaded content to train AI models without your explicit consent.
7. Cookies and Tracking
We use essential cookies required for authentication and security. We use analytics cookies (anonymised) to understand usage patterns and improve the product. You can control cookie preferences in your browser settings, though disabling essential cookies may affect Service functionality.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: Request a copy of your personal data
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
- Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format
- Objection: Object to certain processing of your data

9. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g. fraud prevention).

The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will delete it promptly.
11. International Transfers
Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to these countries, which may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.
